Role Overview
We are looking for a Key Account Manager in the South of England to help us keep growing. This role is ideally suited to someone who combines commercial capability with pathway insight, stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for reducing health inequalities by working in close partnership with healthcare providers, NHS England, HMPPS and community stakeholders to support treatment pathways for individuals living with opioid dependence — with a particular focus on continuity of care across custody and community services.
About the RoleThis is a field-based account management role covering the South region, working in close partnership with the Head of Criminal Justice and regional leads across the Southeast of England.
The successful candidate will:
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with commissioners, healthcare providers, and criminal justice stakeholders.
• Contribute to pathway development through appropriate and compliant engagement.
• Deliver ABPI-compliant training and educational sessions to healthcare professionals and service partners.
• Create and implement account plans aligned with regional commissioning strategies and operational priorities.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across Medical, Marketing, and Commercial functions to achieve shared goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver territory objectives in line with Camurus’ Health & Justice business plan.
• Identify and develop advocates, decision-makers, and service champions.
• Provide insight-based support to improve treatment continuity and patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate reporting and planning using approved systems.
• Uphold governance, compliance, and SOP standards at all times.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
• Experienced in pharmaceutical account management or has demonstrable experience within the criminal justice / substance misuse treatment landscape
• Skilled at stakeholder engagement with both clinical and operational teams
• Confident delivering educational sessions to multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledgeable in national drug strategy, commissioning frameworks, and criminal justice healthcare pathways
• Purpose-driven, resilient, and culturally aligned to improving care for vulnerable populations
• With a full clean driving licence.
Essential Requirements
• Degree or relevant experience in Substance misuse service delivery, healthcare, or criminal justice
• Strong understanding of complex public-sector health environments
• Eligibility for DBS/CRB clearance
• ABPI qualification (or willingness to obtain within two years)
• Fluent in English
• Experienced user of MS Office Package, including Excel and PowerPoint.
